WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

Sweet Bee is a home-based business located in Kooringal, WAGGA WAGGA NSW.

WHEN CAKE I ORDER A CAKE?

Order days each week are Thursday - Saturday.

Sunday cake orders can be picked up Sunday and stored in the fridge overnight. If I am away for the weekend they can also be picked up Friday, they will still be fresh and delicious for Sunday. If you need a cake for another day in the week, get in contact to discuss if this is possible.

HOW DO I ORDER?

To make an order with Sweet Bee email is QUEEN! I struggle taking calls whilst on the go all the time and I need all cake details recorded somewhere to refer back to. Email me directly or complete the enquiry form here on the website. Unfortunately, this form does not include a place for your designs so remember to email any design pics through to sweetbeepastries@gmail.com

Once reviewed, Sweet Bee will be in contact to confirm all order details and a final invoice will be emailed through.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date and the remaining balance to be paid 1-2 weeks prior to the event date. Please note that full payment cannot be made earlier than 2 weeks prior to your event.

Please make time to read over our Terms and Conditions page before making your order and please allow at least 1-2 business days for a reply. Emails are monitored daily however some days can become quite busy especially Thursday-Saturday so cake orders for that weekend must take priority over admin.

HOW MUCH NOTICE DO YOU NEED?

The sooner the better, at least 2-3 months is always safe. Dates fill up quick! If you’ve left it till the last minute, flick me an email, you can always try.

DO YOU DELIVER?

Whilst pickup is most preferred, delivery for custom cakes is available for orders over $150.

DO YOU USE FONDANT?

Sweet Bee specialises in Swiss meringue buttercream cakes. Whilst I do use fondant for toppers and decorations to go on top of the cake I will rarely use it to cover a whole cake. If there is a fondant design I am drawn to and I feel confident I can achieve it I will consider taking on this order (for example the fondant draped wedding cake design) however I do not specialise in fondant novelty cakes.

I am able to achieve a much sharper finish with buttercream and a better overall taste.

CAN I ORDER A PLAIN CAKE, NO DECORATION?

This is like an artist selling you a blank canvas. The decoration is the best part and where I can create something special for you which is why I do not sell plain iced cakes. My cakes also start at $130 which makes purchasing a blank cake not really worth it.

DO YOU MAKE GF, DF, VEGAN CAKES?

The Sweet Bee kitchen is NOT allergy friendly. It also becomes my home kitchen at the end of each day. Rest assured It is council-approved and kept in tip top condition. I also hold my Food Safety Supervisor certificate and have worked in the hospitality sector for the last 10 years or so.

Currently, I can only offer gluten free cakes. Please note that whilst they are gluten free, ALL products are made in the same kitchen so this option is NOT recommended for people who are severely allergic. Sweet Bee takes no responsibility for any allergy related issues.
